— Nate Wilson-Taylor
Nate has served as a union steward since 2022, advocating for members and recognizing the importance of ensuring workers are heard, respected, and fairly represented. Through his union involvement and years of frontline experience, he understands the challenges recreation workers face and the importance of standing up for their interests.
Born and raised in Toronto’s east end, Nate’s connection to recreation began as a participant before he joined the City of Toronto in 2008 as a Parks Youth Leader at Scarborough Civic Centre.
